Dr. Ilyse Rao: Your Functional Medicine Expert for Autism and Gut-Brain Health
Dr. Ilyse Rao is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional committed to helping individuals achieve optimal health. As both a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Family Nurse Practitioner, she brings a unique, integrative approach to patient care.
She earned her Doctorate from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, where she developed a strong foundation in chiropractic principles, musculoskeletal health, and whole-body wellness. She later graduated summa cum laude from South University in Savannah, Georgia, with a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
In addition to her expertise in musculoskeletal health, Dr. Rao has specialized training in functional medicine, weight management, anti-aging, and regenerative medicine.
Her passion for functional medicine is deeply personal—when searching for answers to help her child, she discovered the power of a root-cause approach and saw incredible results. This journey not only transformed her child’s health but also played a crucial role in saving her mother’s life. Witnessing firsthand the profound impact of functional medicine inspired her to dedicate her career to helping others navigate their own health challenges.
She is committed to empowering patients and families with the tools and personalized care they need to achieve optimal health.
